Orders

Your order, whether placed online or by email, is a confirmation of your purchase and is bound by these terms and conditions, including our Returns & Refunds policy. This applies to goods ordered without being inspected in person.

Cancellations and refunds

We don't accept returns or exchanges for change of mind, so please check sizes, colours and finishes before ordering. If you're unsure about anything, email us before you order and we'll happily help.

If an item is faulty, has a major flaw that wasn't known at the time of purchase, doesn't match its description, or isn't fit for the purpose it was sold for, we'll arrange a repair, replacement or refund at no cost to you.

Cancellations must be requested in writing by email. Where an order is cancelled at your request, we may deduct costs we've already incurred, such as transaction fees, supplier cancellation charges or delivery costs.

Custom or special-order items (for example, non-standard fabrics) are non-stock items and can't be cancelled or refunded unless they're faulty.

Many of our pieces are hand crafted and hand finished and may vary slightly in measurement and finish. Timber, stone and other natural materials vary in grain, tone and texture and may change over time with light and use. These natural variations are not considered faults.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms limits those rights.

Delivery and damaged items

Please see our Shipping & Delivery page for delivery costs and times. When an item is delivered, please inspect it. Any visible damage must be pointed out to the delivery driver at the time of delivery. If the item arrives in packaging, any damage found must be reported to us within 48 hours of delivery.

Payments

All goods remain the property of Yen Concept until paid in full.

Where an overdue account is referred to a collection agency and/or law firm, the customer is liable for all expenses incurred in recovering the money owed, including debt collection commission and legal costs. Overdue accounts are subject to interest at 10% p.a. for the period the account is overdue.

Copy errors

Yen Concept reserves the right to cancel any order for a product that was listed incorrectly, whether with an incorrect price or incorrect details, even if the order has been confirmed and paid for. If this happens, we'll contact you as soon as possible and refund the amount charged.
