Care: Wash cold or warm. 30–40°C on a gentle cycle. Use liquid detergent only — powder detergents and fabric softeners coat the cotton fibres and gradually dull the sateen surface and reduce its natural breathability over time.
Tumble dry medium. Remove while still slightly damp. The sateen surface smooths naturally as the fabric cools, reducing the need for ironing. Avoid over-drying — heat-set creases are harder to remove than those from line drying.
Improves with washing. Long-staple cotton settles into the weave with each wash, becoming progressively smoother and softer over time. The viscose rayon embroidery thread is colourfast and maintains its depth wash after wash.
